This error message  doesn’t necessarily mean that your code was already used. It is also displayed when you enter the code again, before the credit was processed to your account. If the problem remains after a few hours, and you didn’t share the code with anyone else, contact Google Play Customer Support directly. They will be able to tell you why your account does not accept the code. In case you have multiple accounts make sure you have not redeemed it to another one.

Only Google Play Support can tell you why your card was blocked after you received a valid code from us. It might be because your VPN was active, or because their security system found some other suspicious activity. Make sure to give them your voucher code and state the issue to help find the solution quickly.

Google Play Gift Cards are region-locked. They can only be used in the country, and currency, they were purchased for. Once you’ve tried to redeem the code, it’s already linked to your email address. In that case you have to reach out to Google Play’s Customer Support for help. Please understand that due to their nature, digital products that were delivered valid cannot be refunded, nor returned. You could however, try to change your Google Play country settings, but be aware that you can only do this once a year and that it can take up to 48 hours to update. If that doesn't work for you, consider gifting or reselling the gift card to someone you know, who can redeem it.
